A Midsummer Night's Dream

In one of the sub-plots of Shakespeare's most popular comedy, an asinine amateur actor is temporarily turned into an ass. Posters, original designs and photographs document the 1903 revival that opened the New Amsterdam Theater and a 1935 all-star Hollywood film.
