Harry and Sala met in 1942 in Gross Paniow, a Schmelt labor camp in Poland, where this photograph was taken. Soon after, they were transferred to Blechhammer, where they stayed only a short time. Harry was then sent to Dyhernfurth and Sala to Schatzlar.
