Sala’s cousin Rozia Grünbaum writes about the sadness of not having the family together over the holidays. The Passover Seder was so sad, she says, that “our tears could have filled a lake.” She tells Sala “not to worry … we will be happy again.” She also asks Sala to pass the letter on to her brother Abram, who is also at Geppersdorf.
