A panoramic view of the old capital of Moscow as it appeared ca. 1715, by the French-born engraver Petr Picart (fl. 1702–32). This image is reproduced in a compilation of engravings, assembled by the Russian jurist and collector Rovinskii, that is itself a great rarity, produced in only 250 copies.
