Sikes and Nancy, The Reading.
The revised conclusion of Sikes and Nancy was written out by Dickens in longhand on three pages, using the fly-leaf and endpaper at the back of the prompt-copy. It brought the reading to an end--most dramatically--with Sikes's unintentional suicide.
