Theatre of the Lost Continent's The Trojan Women, 1974. The Trojan Women is often revived in periods of conflict and war. The Off-Off-Broadway Theatre of the Lost Continent staged this production during the Vietnam War and included a peace symbol on its flyer. The mid-1970s was also a period in which “drag” and “ queer” theatre were recognized as parts of the experimental Off-Off-Broadway sphere. This production featured Ondine, Mario Montez and Jackie Curtis. Billy Rose Theatre Collection, The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts
